Strobl sees his work as a literal approximation in which two lines approach each other, but also as two converging working methods that can be classified as both printing and painting. The device Strobl used to create this work was "hacked" by him and passed over the sheet. Strobl explains: "The structure of the print results from my intervention in the technology of the machine, and from the speed and angle of my movements, but also from the support material on which I work and the reaction of both." Strobl sieht die Arbeit als wortwörtliche Annäherung, also Approximation, bei der sich motivisch zwei Linien annähern, aber auch zwei Arbeitsmethoden, die sich sowohl als Drucktechnik als auch Malerei klassifizieren lassen, sodass sich die Techniken annähern. Das von Strobl verwendete Gerät wurde von ihm "gehacked" und über das Blech geführt. Strobl erklärt: "Die Struktur des Drucks ergibt sich sowohl durch meinen Eingriff in die Technik der Maschine, als auch durch Geschwindigkeit und Winkel meiner Bewegung, und durch das Trägermaterial auf dem ich arbeite und die Reaktion beider."
